APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP - 2002/2003
The following guidelines are used in the application of the scholarship program. If anyone has questions or suggestions for improvement, please contact the Scholarship Chair (Mr. Charles Wilcox at 210-536-6566 or email charles.wilcox@brooks.af.mil), the Chapter President, or any member of the Board of Directors. Your suggestion will be discussed by the Chapters Officers and answered in the Quill. You will also receive a personal response.
1. Eligibility is open to Greater San Antonio Chapter members who are in good standing. Officers, directors, and scholarship committee members are not eligible.
2. The number and amounts of scholarships vary dependent on the Chapters receipt of supplemental funds from our National Office.
3. The Chapter contributes $1,000.00 for the scholarship year (July - June). Applicants are limited to one scholarship per scholarship year; e.g., July 2002 - June 2003. The maximum amount of any one scholarship is $1,000.00.
4. Both sides of this application must be completed fully and submitted with the required attached documentation.
5. Complete applications are evaluated by the Scholarship Committee with a recommendation to the Chapter Officers for award.
6. Scholarship funding may only be used for unreimbursed expenses for books, fees, tuition toward an academic degree, conferences, and seminars.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on an accumulation of points. Along with the application, applicants must attach a receipt or other documentation which evidences attendance in a college course, or attendance at a seminar, conference, et cetera.
NOTE THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT ON THE REVERSE.
